No practice or Match Thursday or Saturday due to the Independence Day holiday.
We will host our one home match on 7/13/24 at East Columbia Library.
I need someone to step up and coordinate the Snack Shack for the post match social. I will not be there so if no one volunteers we will not have anything. Let me know if you are interested and I can get you started.
We have to declare our teams for the end of season tournament by Tuesday 7/9/24

U7, U9, and U11 will play on Saturday 7/27/24
U13 and U16 will play on Sunday 7/28/24
Matches will start at 9am and last through the afternoon.
Our U13s will be partnering with the Olney Exiles, so don’t worry if we’re short on players.
Rugby Xplorer Registration

The 2024 season will begin on Tuesday June 4th.
Practices are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30PM at the fields behind the East Branch of the Columbia Library. Games are played on Saturday mornings and some Thursdays in lieu of practice. We are members of the Maryland Rugby SBO and play other touch and tackle rugby teams from around the Maryland/DC area.

We offer a truly unique sports experience that will challenge the players both physically and mentally (yes-rugby is a thinking game) while having a lot of fun in the process. We are fortunate to have a great group of kids and parents participating throughout the years and look forward to growing our program.

We have been around since 1998 and offer rugby opportunities for players from ages 5 to 18. The younger players play a co-ed, two-hand touch version of the game that allows them to develop rugby skills and an understanding of the game without the concern of contact. The older players engage in full contact tackle rugby.
