The 2025 season will begin on Tuesday June 3rd.
Practices are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30PM at the fields behind East Columbia Library. Games are scheduled for Saturday mornings and some Thursdays in lieu of practice. We are members of the Maryland Rugby SBO and play other touch and tackle rugby teams from around the Maryland/DC area.

We offer a truly unique sports experience that will challenge the players both physically and mentally (yes-rugby is a thinking game) while having a lot of fun in the process. We are fortunate to have a great group of kids and parents participating throughout the years and look forward to growing our program.

Thank you for visiting the Howard County Hurricanes Rugby website.
We have been around since 1998 and offer rugby opportunities for players from ages 5 to 18. The younger players play a co-ed, two-hand touch version of the game that allows them to develop rugby skills and an understanding of the game without the concern of contact. The older players engage in full contact tackle rugby.
